FRONT COCKPIT
Things of particular interest
in this area:
(Press "Back" on your browser to return to this
list.)
1/ There is always a red protective cover fitted to the HUD when the aircraft is on the ground. The number on this cover is not connected to the aircraft it is fitted to. (Photo 2, Photo 3, Photo 9, Photo 10)
2/ There is a blast shield fitted in the canopy, between the two cockpits. (Photo 19, Photo 20)
3/ Note how the shoulder harness clips onto the seat parachute box. (Photo 13, Photo 16)
4/ There is a distinct "step" up to the rear cockpit which can be seen behind the front seat. (Photo 11, Photo 13, Photo 15)
5/ The canopy
detonating chord is attached to the inside of the canopy, not in the plastic
itself. (Photo 17, Photo
18, Photo 19, Photo 20)
